Approximate translation of the review
AETERNA HYSTORIAis a young group from the region of Aurillac (Auvergne) that we propose today its first album (which is actually a re-recorded version, completed and re-arranged its first demo was released in 2008),Legends Of Ausphaal.

A first album as ambitious conceptually difficult exercise if any, and evolving at the crossroads of progressive rock and metal to singer. Say it right now, quality is the appointment, and this is largely due to serious and palpable under which the group demonstrated in the birth of this first opus.

The compositions are interesting, relatively long and varied most ( Valdor's Plain, Struggle For Love , alternating heavy riff heavy and melodic arpeggios before seriously annoyed (drummer NKSgratifies us with a few blasts beats, hints of his previous groups of black ) the time a very solo speed metal, Lord Of War ,...) and very well performed by trained musicians: the voice that often evokesLiliane to Sabineof EDENBRIDGE,Valdor's Plainas on, but also knows how to do more lyrical (Struggle For Love,...), and is regularly supplemented by grunts, guitars are impeccable both on the heavy passages ( The Flight, Lord Of War,Larnoch Valley/Final Battle ) at times felt good acoustics ( Valdor's Plain,Hadrian's Thoughts) or solos Excellent ( Valdor's Plain, Dream And Magic, Aelia's Despairand above, the addition of violin enhances the symphonic side, and the rhythm section is excellent (low passage - aboutFinal Battlebattery, among others).

However, too much to want to take a combo tend to do too much, and throughout the listening the listener fell off gradually to a music-heavy. In this regard,Aelia's Despair, which slows the pace and comes to simplicity, revives the attention at the end of cd and we can "recover" from the discharge notes of the 2 previous songs.

remains in the end a good album, despite its encouraging teething pardonable, a little too heavy and long but ultimately very good times, and allows us to find a good group of French, serious and promising.

Please visit their myspace and encourage them, they are worth it!

a pleasant surprise.
