C' is definitely a year very Metal qu' one l' one lives in this moment since many groups ravel in our area since January! After HELLOWEEN, SYMPHONY X, RHAPSODY OF FIRE and SABATON in particular, c' is with the turn of Finnish of SONATA ARCTICA to present itself to us of this Tuesday March 15, 2011.
With the program of the evening also, two settings stops j' of it; named TRIOSPHERE and LABYRINTH.
C' is TRIOSPHERE which vigorously starts the evening around 20:00 with its quartet come straight of Norway. That becomes traditional, Finnish balance a intro " décalée" before their appearance on stage: that slackens l' atmosphere and c' is always sympathetic nerve to see a group releasing kind. Personally, j' had laughed well at the time d' a preceding round introduced by famous the "Gaston, y'a l'téléphon qui son..."! Yesterday evening, one was in the same vein. One discovers then the setting in scene SONATA ARCTICA turned version 2011 with a large logistics level light: a true wall of leds which will accompany the music by the Scandinavian quintet very length of l' hour and half which the show will last. But the band with Tony from now on lived one considerable and the concert leaves on a very good rate/rhythm with Flag In The Ground and The Last Amazing Grays. Here new titles which function quite live and which are received positively by a public already (it is true) with conquered half. Reasons of this success? A well controlled sound (what was d' elsewhere the case for the two other groups), of the compos sufficiently metal to involve the public with them and especially an enormous investment on behalf of Tony KAKKO. Vocally, the singer enormously progressed since his beginning and its particular voice is very fascinating. Moreover, its stage business is excellent: it to and from on the scene, raises a broad smile, harangue crowd and headbangue at the time of the instrumental parts, in short, a vice d' energy which pays and gives to this concert another dimension.
the song Juliet Comes then which, like us l' explain the leader of the group, is inspired by l' work of Shakespeare… and Tony to leave on a humorous speech to present this title to come! The evening will be strewn with these small interludes on a light mode and my faith very pleasant. C' is l' here; artist who s' affirm and which at the same time, does not begin (too much) with serious… amusing method to put the public in the pocket.
Juliet mark in my opinion radical change of the group: c' is a complex and dramatic title literally " joué" by the group… not only with the musical direction but with the theatrical direction. Tony, in the center of this part, shows its qualities of singer able to modulate his voice according to the emotions and to give this long-lived impression qu' he saw his song completely. Then l' one plunges oneself in the past with titles like Fullmoon and Blank File which dynamite the delighted public by the Transbordeur. In a general way, these old titles come booster rocket a show already successful and choice of the more recent but frightening songs like Caleb or Don't Say A Word finishes completing the work of Finnish.
In short, a successful mixture of new and old titles, a monstrous play of lights, a musical service super pro and a worthy scenic service d' a group of head d' post. SONATA ARCTICA makes a success of this new passage to Lyon and even manages to fill me… me which am however reticent with respect to the new albums (nostalgia…). More important, Finnish very gave to these fans who n' waited until that and who returned to them well considering l' atmosphere of enthusiasm which filled pit and steps yesterday evening.
