After an unhappy cancellation (due d' absence of room being able to accomodate the PMFF) in 2010 - in spite of the unexpected reformation of OCEAN, and after one year “without” due to lack of room in capacity accomodating such an event (the Loco repurchased does not accomodate any more a group of Metal…), Phil ‘Em Alldecided to start again the machine to the Divan du Monde. In this crisis period, one could wonder whether the public would follow. The answer is undeniable YES. Even if one can, in this January 8, 2012 to circulate without too much sorrow on the floor of the Divan, the public to and from with the liking of the groups… and his hunger, too. Because the only difficulty of this small room is to propose only drinks, therefore neither snack bar nor sandwiches, which forces the public to leave to sustain itself. the fourth edition of theParis Metal France Festival ( PMFF for the close friends - and more facility also), accomodates a heteroclite poster: the seven groups which will follow one another have as a common point to be all come to play free (all those which took part in l' organization of the festival also played the game while being voluntary, which deserves a great Cheer with all and all!) and are thus all… French! Accomodating in their centre two new recruits ( Magalie , WITCHESand current WURM, with low andConstance with the song) the formation offers an effective set, a service delivered with so much of heart that them some approximations easily are forgiven. The public is all the more receptive as the choice of the pieces, drawn among the traditional ones, is imparable. One is entitled even to the visit ofAlex COLIN-TOQUAINE (AGRESSOR) come to tease the ear of his sister (Sibylle, another witch, with the guitar) like to that of Eddie and with the flags onThe Trooper, it is to say! An excellent setting in mouth, carried out by a from beginning to end smiling Constancy, so that this day of festival starts well!

EXISTANCE , at Metal Intégral, one knows and one likes! Finally… I had never yet listened but criticisms eulogistic gave me desire of it. To discover the quartet live to the PMFF proves to be the ideal choice for that. As of its entry on scene, the group develops the things: Behaviour of leather, docker, tennis shoes, one makes a rapid jump in a past not so remote and, however, completely of topicality. And the music, as much as the service of the group, is as much. In the 35 ' too short minutes space,EXISTANCE is made the revelation of the day. With a first album left in 2006, and new about to be delivered, CONSCIENCE decides to acquire the favours of the amateurs of goods large fronts by starting with one The Armyheavy with wish. And considering the red number of T shirts raising the name of the group, it seems well that CONSCIENCE did not come only. If first half of the set shows an accustomed group of the scenes and perfectly at ease, CONSCIENCE is lost somewhat in a second impressive half of technique but somewhat too conclusive. If its Heavy Prog undoubtedly points out possible giants such DREAM THEATER, the longest pieces see part of the public dispersing (in order to take again forces?) whereas CONSCIENCE continues, in spite of the complexity of its work, to deliver a remarkable service.

After one year difficult for EVIL ONE, which saw two of its members leaving and who integrated half ofHURLEMENT in replacement ( Alexis with the song then, at the end of 2011, Le Gorg with low) Franciliens must begin again with almost zero their conquest of the public. However, it is undeniable that this line-up is more fundamentally in spirit Metal than the precedent. Le Gorg is given the responsability as of its arrival on scene to point out it to us… And there, one passes to another category, that of theThrash old school , the Metal returns inside, direct and without ornaments. With EVIL ONE are held, as of Thrashback , the first pogos and are formed first circle pitsand that is hustled severe in the public! The attitude, all is in the attitude at EVIL ONE : Le Gorg balancing a such escaped Troll of his cave,Kriss making whirl its hair such blades of an helicopter… The public receptive with the old titles and is taken again (Black Metal ) and attentive with the innovations ( God, The Father And The Gund' a promising effectiveness). Nothing to say on this side,EVIL ONE managed yet to disappoint me on scene. Highly the album and of new dates!

Astonishing position that of DYGITALS on this poster… However, as recalled by Phil, DYGITALS fact part of these formations which are the reason to even be of the PMFF : to reform groups having left their print over the Eighties. We precisely point out that the Parisian ones have sacrament marked years 85-88 with titles of the hardening of Ave Cesar or She’s OK(two titles being reproduced on compilation French Connection), that the quintet had managed to slip with the poster of the France Festival 85 of Choisy the King in opening of the festival. Waitings of an album recorded into 87 but ever left and the promises, ten years later of the exit ofLove Game revived the hopes of the fans but difficulties forced the group to make back machine. In addition to being the only group without album to be elected among the French hopes in the referendum of Enfer Magazine in 1986, There remains the only group without album to be also high poster of the PMFF (I believe…) !

Because the group has potato always as much and proposes a made up set in most of new titles which will be reproduced on the future album. During the hour which is granted to him, DYGITALS decides to be presented under its current day by proposing a majority of recent songs. Once quiet arpeggios of Medieval Rites passed, Alex and its band leave heavy artillery.
