Alternine is founded in 2005 in Rennes (France) by Julien (bass guitar) and Pierre-Antoine (guitar), and soon joined by William (guitar) and Mathieu (drums). While searching for a singer, the quartet rehearse relentlessly on a set-list made entirely of original songs. The arrival of Laetitia in 2007 allows the band to take off and reveal its musical potential.

Alternine displays a rock that can be energetic, aerial, mysterious in turn, but always remains melodic, original and inspired.
