Approximate translation of the review
In 2011, first album From The Ashes had revealed a training still a little just compared to its posted ambitions. Which were to produce one Heavy Metal powerful and lyric, even symphonic, as the presence testified some to singer Maike HOLZMANN. VOICES OF DESTINY persist in its ambitions but complexes still a little more gives it by musclant its play manifestly.

Ainsi, vocal lifting and the rather relevant ones of Maike often côtoient growls Death of clavierist Lukas PALME, sometimes not so distant that per moments from the Black Metal ! In the same way, so on the first album, the corpus musical one was close to the Heavy Metal and of Heavy symphonic, VOICES OF DESTINY does not hesitate any more to launch out in passages definitely more malicious.

However, the group remains firm on its fundamental: the symphonic aspect and melodies. Thanks to the voice of Maike and with the abundant keyboards but not invading, the group cultivates imposing environments sometimes too much, while the lines of song, certain refrains, even of rhythmic good catchy form as much oasis in a very bulky unit.

One cannot reproach VOICES OF DESTINY for evolving/moving, when well even elements Heavy or more extremes very original are not taken separately. The result still misses fluidity but not certain charm. VOICES OF DESTINY must still perfect its art to compose, in order to keep only essence and to thus gain in effectiveness (this qu' he manages very well to make on the very effective Being Worth).
