30 years of talents, that is celebrated!!!
Strong of the resounding success of his last excellent album Pandemonium gone out in 2010, PRETTY MAIDS, Danish formation talentueuse and this since more than 30 years left to foam the scenes of the entire world.
And it is in Switzerland that this It Comes Alive was recorded.
I invite you to reread my chronicle of Pandemonium on the site for more of details on the career of the group.
For my party, in the matter of Heavy / Hard -Rock, with more extreme keys (Trash or again Black) for this Pandemonium, PRETTY MAIDS is done of better in the kind.
The singer Ronnie ATKINS is a lion that knows also to be done more feline on lighter compositions, Ken HAMMER and his guitar always finds the riff devilish one to raise the crowds and the different rhythmic bases of the group always assured a maximum, as the claviériste, always discreet, subtle and useful.
Useless one to say that Ronnie and Ken are the angular rock of the group since more than 30 years. (They formed the group in 1981!)
Difficult one with not to write that the group is itself often, following the example of a GOTTHARD, satisfied of a success of esteem while the proposed albums curled often the sublimates!
Here why I rejoice to see at last PRETTY MAIDS fully rewarded one to the height of his talent!
Pandemonium permit at last to the group a bigger visibility and it is only justice.
Pandemonium is an acclaimed album to just title!
For this It Comes Alive, the group had only the difficulty of the choice to compose his play-list.
All the "classical" group are there and strong well interpreted.
The group put the hits of the Pandemonium, the choice is perfect, the public in ecstasy and Ronnie and its friends do all for that it some is thus.
The sound is huge.
And with the pictures, this is again better!!! A simple concert in the attitude but which power of fire!!!

Here, to buy the closed eyes and if you know not again PRETTY MAIDS, it is big time of you there to put...

PRETTY MAIDS : It Comes Alive :

Ronnie ATKINS : Song,
Ken HAMMER : Guitars,
René SHADES : Low,
Allan TSCHICAJA : Battery,
Morten SANDAGER : Keyboards.

Hé oui, PRETTY MAIDS a dû se contenter d'un succès d'estime, les uns les jugeant trop commerciaux (album "Jumpg The Gun"), les autres trop rugueux. Mais c'est justement le génie des Danois que d'avoir marié à merveille la chatoyance des mélodies du Hard US, voire du Hard FM, avec l'âpreté du Hard Rock, voire du Heavy Metal ("Cold Killer", "Back To Back", "Night Danger", puis "Future World" et "Loud'n'Proud", c'était pas du mou de veau, hein ?). Je vote pour, les yeux fermés !
