Approximate translation of the review

How to create a new style in Heavy Metal with 3 classic styles? Maybe TRIGGER RENEGADE found the good formula…

First of all when I read the biography the band send I notice this sentence taken from a “Zero Magazine” review: “Imagine if Iron Maiden and Thin Lizzy joined forces”.

Well if that’s right you will find some few Iron Maiden musical parts or few (but really few) Thin Lizzy ones, I’m not agreeing with this resume…

For my ears TRIGGER RENEGADE is a really cool mix between Punk Metal; mostly Offspring (USA) or Addicts (GB), Heavy Metal (Maiden & NWOBHM) and Hard Rock (first KIX, Adam Bomb…). You can add the 70’s spirit on some parts too!

Believe me if you are “open Metal mind” you will be rapidly under the charm from this band!

Their fresh and energetic Metal will make you pull the trigger and their 10 bullets will reach your head to invite you to a memorable “Party tonight”!

Yes this is my TRIGGER RENEGADE vision! But in fact the most important is not what I think; it’s what’s inside this CD! Maybe with a bigger production the band will be more powerful! So visit rapidly their page and listen the songs you will be hooked like me!

This is the kind of traditional Metal that could make the link between Underground and actual melodic modern Metal you can find on radio or TV…It had worked with Offspring, why not with TRIGGER RENEGADE? Time will tell! But right now just listen this CD and Destroy your Mind!

THE VERDICT = considering it's a first CD

RASKAL The French Warrior gives a 17/20

RASKAL The Objective gives a 16/20

The French Warrior speaks with its Heart and is more interested by the essence of the songs / cover / attitudes…

The Objective takes all with a more "professional" vision (production, way to play, to sing...) and tries to be neutral.
