Biographie :  SKurl is a one-man-band born in 2006 that rises of influences that range from gothic rock (Christian Death, les Sisters of Mercy) to metal (Cathedral, Sentenced, Paradise Lost …).

After 2 years dedicated to various collaborations, sound experiments and songwriting, is released the first self produced demo, Rejoins Les Ombres, in 2008. The songs are based on heavy guitar riffs and dark atmospheres, while the clean and growling voices serve lyrics that assess as a whole in French language.

In 2009, SKurL joins C. into a darkwave instrumental project called Our Scars, and brings voices and guitars, which allows him to explore freely cold wave areas which influenced the first demo.

In the beginning of 2010 is released SKurL 2nd demo, named Le Salut De Nos Ames.
